The Old Main Academic Center Parking Garage will close from 5 p.m. Wednesday [Oct. 8] until approximately 10 a.m. Thursday [Oct. 9] due to a planned power outage affecting the building.
Intermittent lane closures are scheduled Aug. 4–5 along College View Drive to complete striping modifications and bike lane improvements that will enhance safety and accessibility on campus.
The renovation of Howell Hall, located on the northwest corner of campus near the intersection of College View Street and Bailey Howell Drive, is scheduled to begin Aug. 4 and continue through the end of 2026.
A section of Stone Boulevard near Dorman Hall will be limited to one lane of traffic from 6-9 p.m. today [July 7] to complete necessary utility work for the new South Campus Mechanical Plant.
A portion of the sidewalk on the southeast side of Bully Boulevard is closed due to construction of a new pedestrian path at the entrance to the Fresh Food Company east parking lot. The new walkway is expected to be completed on July 3.
Beginning Wednesday [May 21], the west lane of Verner Hurt Boulevard in the Thad Cochran Research, Technology and Economic Development Park will temporarily operate as two-way traffic. This is necessary to repave the east lane of Verner Hurt Boulevard and complete the construction of the entrance to the new High Performance Computing Data Center.
