We want to hear from you! Share your ideas for areas on campus that need a refresh, redesign or remodel for 2024 and win up to $25,000 to complete your project in our first ever Bulldog First Impressions contest.
Bulldog First Impressions Guidelines
- Project proposals should be for public spaces or common areas on the main campus.
- Projects may include one or more of the following: carpet, paint, plants or landscaping, signage, furniture, etc.
- Entries will be reviewed by Campus Services and judged on their overall impact to students, faculty, staff and visitors to MSU.
- Entries are limited to $25,000.
- Current MSU students, faculty and staff can submit an entry for the Bulldog First Impressions.
How to Enter
- Draft a written proposal that includes 2-5 pictures of the area you would like to improve on campus along with a paragraph about how your project will enhance campus life at MSU;OR
- Create a video (limited to two minutes) on your smart phone to show us the proposed area for your project and explain how it will enhance campus life at MSU.
- Email your entry to Nicole Thomas, Manager of Communications for Campus Services, at anm5@msstate.edu or post your entry Campus Services Twitter or Instagram @msstatecampus.
- Deadline to enter is April 1, 2024.
- Winning project announced May 2, 2024.
